GGDSD College Kheri Gurna has already made its mark on the educational horizon of Punjabi University, Patiala. A humble beginning was made five years ago and the hard work of highly qualified and dedicated faculty, with a visionary management at its back, is showing the results. The number of students securing top positions in the University is rapidly increasing. The students are also bringing laurels to the college in cultural activities and sports by winning the most coveted trophies and medals. The teachers as well as the students deserve all appreciation for their passion and zeal.

The Governing Body of the college believes that this institution should be unique and different. The pace of progress so far has been very stimulating and encouraging. I am pleased to welcome new entrants into the rich legacy of GGDSD College, Kheri Gurna. I thank you all for your interest in this exceptional institution which has recorded a decade of constant development, during which it has accomplished much, making it one of the most sought-after colleges recognized for its excellence. The college was founded by the Great Visionary, Late Sh. Upkar Krishan Sharma ji, (former Vice President of Eveready Industries India Ltd.), the illustrious and visionary son of the Late Pt. Mohan Lal, former Education, Home, and Finance Minister of Punjab.

The innovative teaching pedagogy, compulsory industry interface, intensive training programs, and ultramodern research facilities speak of the management’s vision to help students acquire practical knowledge, skills, and discernment required for ready employment. The focus is on providing practical exposure to the students and with the efforts of the Training and Placement Cell, we arrange stipend-based internships for our students in reputed companies. The College aims at the holistic integration of sound academic advancement by securing top merit positions in Punjabi University, Patiala along with an extensive interest in co-curricular programmes ensuring maximum participation of students in Youth Festivals and other Sports events. Every year our students get a place in the Merit List of Punjabi University, Patiala.
