A Sports Meet was organized on 9th April in the college premises.Hon’ble Shri Upkar Krishan Sharma Ji, President, GGDSD College Society graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Other distinguished members of the Governing Body of GGDSD College Society- Dr. Anirudh Joshi, Dr. P.K. Bajaj, Dr. S.K. Chadha, Dr. Harjodh Singh and Dr. Ajay Sharma were also present during the event. Maj Gen A.K. Shori, Chairman, Governing Body of the college also participated in the function. College Principal Prof. (Dr.) Rama Arora in her welcome address talked about the manifold significance of sports in a students’ life. Shri Upkar Krishan Ji inaugurated the meet by hoisting the flag of the college. It was followed by a magnificent March Past.
Various events like 100 meter race, 200 meter race, shot put, long jump and tug of war were organized in this meet in which the college students displayed their tremendous talent.
