Chess Competition

The Intermural Chess Competition was organized by the Physical Education Department of our college on 23rd September’2023. The event started at 11:15 AM with a total of 10 contestants taking part in the competition from Commerce and Arts stream. All the matches were knockout matches and the loser had to go out of the tournament. The tournament was a tough one with all the contestants putting out their best skills. The top four qualified players gave their best to win the game. Finally, after a tough competition, the results were known with Fateh Singh (B.A.1st year) securing the first place and Mahesh Kumar (B.Com-Hons-IIIrd year) securing the second place. The event was successfully conducted under the guidance of Dr. Preeti Arora (Head, Department of Commerce and Management). Prof. Baljeet Singh (Coordinator), Prof. Swarn Singh, Mr. Dalip Kumar and Mr. Munish Gupta performed their duties to make this event successful.
