Celebration of International Women’s Day’

Women Empowerment Forum of the college organized ‘International Women’s Day’ on 8^th March 2022 on the theme “Gender Equality today for a Sustainable Development: Break the Bias”.

Prof. (Dr.) Rama Arora, Principal of the college talked about the enormous changes that have taken place in the process of upliftment of women and also emphasized the need for further concrete work to be done in this direction so as to ensure equality between the two genders.

A ‘Poetry Recitation’ was organized in which 12 students submitted their poems. Sumanjit of B.Com. (Hons.) II^nd year was given a chance to recite her poem.

A one-minute game on Team Building was also organized for the students. Dr. Jaswinder Kaur announced the names of chosen students for the position of Gender Champions.
