Seminar on Corporate Social Responsibility
Green Campus Club of the college organized a seminar on Corporate Social Responsibility on 31st March, 2022. Dr. Maninder Kaur received and welcomed the guest speaker Sh. Rajesh Sharma founder member Basant Ritu Youth Club of Patiala. The program started with plantation of saplings in the college campus by Sh. Rajesh Sharma and other teaching and non-teaching staff members. Students of the college from various classes also participated in this program with great enthusiasm.
Dr. Jaswinder Kaur explained about the Green Campus Program. She shared her views that how plants are the most important in our life and what are our social responsibilities to save the environment. Sh. Rajesh Sharma during his speech, emphasized on the fact that we get a lot from the society and in return we have a responsibility to give something back to the society. He also urged the students to take care of the natural resources like electricity and water and to keep the environment clean.
Principal Prof. (Dr.) Rama Arora appreciated the efforts made by students in all the activities organized under the National Green Corps program-2021-2022. The program was well coordinated by Dr. Jaswinder Kaur, Dr. Maninder Kaur and her team members Dr. Jyoti Singla, Dr. Sugandha Chhibber, Dr. Manjinder Kaur, Mr. Swarn Singh, Mr. Baljeet Singh, Mr. Munish Gupta, Ms. Geeta Kocher, Mr. Rajesh Sharma and all the teaching and non teaching staff members.
