GUEST LECTURE ‘ENTREPRENEURSHIP AS A CAREER’

A guest lecture on the topic ‘Entrepreneurship as a Career’ was organised by GGDSD College, Kheri Gurna at Government College of Commerce and Business Administration, Chandigarh for their commerce and management students. The resource person for the session was Dr. (CS) Jyoti Arora and the session was coordinated by Dr. Preeti Arora and Ms. Harmanpreet Kaur. The aim of the lecture was to raise basic awareness of entrepreneurial concepts and to enable students to make up their minds to take up entrepreneurship as a career.

The speaker highlighted  names of some successful entrepreneurs like Sachin Bansal, Bhavish Aggarwal, Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Deepinder Goyal, Ritesh Aggarwal and their journey towards becoming entrepreneurs. This lecture motivated the students to work hard in the direction of starting their own venture. The session was an interactive one where more than 100 students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm.
