A Mega Job Fest was held at College on 8th June, 2022.This fest was organized by the Training and Placement Cell of the college in collaboration with District Bureau of Employment and Enterprise and Grow Graphics, a company registered under Company Formation Program of the college. Training and Placement Cell of the college is striving hard to bridge the ever widening gap between Industries & Academia and is regularly counseling and guiding the students for their successful career placements.
Mr. Manjesh Sharma, Deputy CEO and Mrs. Meenakshi Goyal, Deputy Director were also present for the recruitment process.
12 companies participated in this Job Fest with some big names like SBI Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Tech Mahindra, Pukhraj Pharma, Dr. ITM, Agile Pharma, i-Tinker , Think Next, E-Clerx and others. 138 students registered in the Job Fest out of which 102 students were shortlisted for the final round of selection. Some students got selected in more than 2 companies.
Maj. Gen. A.K. Shori, Chairman, Governing Body of GGDSD College, Kheri Gurna motivated the students with his esteemed presence.
Prof. (Dr.) Rama Arora, Principal of the college congratulated the Training and Placement Cell for their effort and lauded the hard work put by the entire organizing committee.
Dr. Ankita Gupta, Coordinator of the Training and Placement Cell said that placement opportunities provided by college for a student play a vital role in shaping his/her career in future. She encouraged all the students to participate with full zeal and wished them good luck.
