Celebration of Van Mahotsav
Women Empowerment Forum and Green Campus Club of the college took initiative to celebrate Van Mahotsav in the month of July, 2022.
A tree plantation drive was organised on the occasion. Dr. Jaswinder Kaur along with her team members distributed 250 Herbal plants and visited many places with an aim to spread knowledge about the importance of plants and trees.
Firstly they visited Lakhnaur Sahib and nearby villages on July 11, 2022. There they distributed various herbal plants in the Gurudwara and nearby villages and spread information related to the beautification and clean environment. On July 19 they distributed the plants to the Principal of P.K.R. Jain College of Education Prof. (Dr.) Mudhita Bhatnagar and staff members with an aim to make college campus clean and green.
On July 30, the plantation drive was celebrated in the campus of GGDSD college Kheri Gurna .Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Rama Arora and faculty members together planted the trees in the college campus. College Principal encouraged the staff members to work towards a cleaner and greener environment.
