To mark the beginning of new academic session, GGDSD College, Kheri Gurna organized Hawan ceremony in the college premises.
To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, Janmashtami was also celebrated on 18th August, 2022 by offering prayers to almighty. The fragrance of flowers, soothing aroma of camphor and the jingle of bells filled the air. The premise was decorated beautifully and the spirit of festivity was enhanced with enthralling devotional songs dedicated to Lord Krishna. The celebration that followed was truly entertaining and educating. Bhajan Kirwan was performed by alumni student of the college Arjun Bhatia.
Worthy members of management were present on the occasion to bless staff and students with their esteemed presence.
Shri S.C. Vaidya, General Secretary, GGDSD College Society motivated with his words of wisdom. He encouraged all to earnestly work towards achieving the vision of President Hon’ble Late Sh. Upkar Krishan Sharma ji.
Maj Gen A.K. Shori, Chairman, said that this holy occasion brings people together thus signifying unity and faith. Prof. (Dr.) Rama Arora, Principal, blessed all the students on this auspicious day and gave them the message to be rooted in the rich legacy and cultural values of India. Her words truly summed up the efficacy of celebrating festivals of devotion and obedience.
