Inter College Essay Writing Competition
The Department of History of the college organized an ‘Inter College Essay Writing Competition’ on the eve of Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd October, 2022. Students were asked to write essays related to topics given to them with maximum words limit 1500 in any of three languages (English/ Hindi/ Punjabi).
The topics for the competition were:
*Swachh Bharat Abhiyan
*2nd October as International Day of Non-violence
*The movement of truth and force- Satyagraha
*Harijans and Gandhiji
Journey within the life of ‘Father of Nation’
The competition was open for all the students. 24 students participated from different colleges in the competition. Event coordinator Dr. Jaswinder Kaur said that competition was organized to explore and encourage the creativity of the students. They participated with immense zeal and enthusiasm.
Officiating principal, Dr. Meenakshi Negi appreciated the work of the students.
