International Mother Language Day

The Punjabi Department of the college celebrated International Mother Language Day on 22nd Feb,2023.
In this program Poster Making and Lok Geet singing competition were organized. Ten students participated in the poster making competition. All the posters were displayed in the Library. Payal of B.A. 2nd Sem, Jaspreet of B.Com 4th Sem and Suneha of B.A. 2nd Sem secured 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions.
In the Lokgeet competition, Neha Rani of B.A. 2nd Sem, Gurpreet B.Com 6th Sem and Simran B.A. 6th Sem got 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions.
Dr. Lakhvinder Kaur narrated a self composed poem on Maa Boli. Mr Sukhvinder Singh also narrated his poem on this occasion. Mr. Swarn Singh also shared a poem.
Students danced on Punjabi songs. At the end officiating principal Dr. Meenakshi Negi distributed prizes among the winners.
