Educational Trip “Government Museum and Art Gallery” Chandigarh

A one-day Educational Trip was organized by GGDSD College, Kheri Gurna on 7th Oct, 2023 to the “Government Museum and Art Gallery” Chandigarh. The visit was planned for the B.A. students and was coordinated by Dr. Vandna Saini, Mr. Munish Gupta and Ms. Rozy Gupta. There were 22 students in total. The students got an excellent opportunity to learn about various ancient Indian sculptures, Pahari and Rajasthani miniature paintings, the Lord’s Buddha journey stories, ancient rocks etc. The museum has one of the largest collections of Gandharan artefacts in the world. The Trip was full of an enriching experience for students which helped them to increase their knowledge about the civilization, culture, religion, history, architecture and art of the country.
