‘Best Out of Waste Competition

The Women Empowerment Forum organized ‘BEST OUT OF WASTE’ competition on October 21, 2023. The objective was to acquaint students with love for nature and responsibility to protect it and improve their skills.
The competition was open for all students. They were expected to create and design something new with waste material. The criteria for the competition was presentation, use of material, innovation and overall effect.
Dr. Jaswinder Kaur demonstrated how to make planters out of plastic bottles. She told that recycling projects are a fun way for students to learn about the importance of the process.
The articles were displayed in the exhibition on October 21, 2023. Total 20 students participated in the activity. The judgement was given by Dr. Jyoti Arora and Ms. Harmanpreet Kaur.Simranjit Kaur of B.A.-1 got 1st Position and Simranjeet Bawa, BBA-1 stood 2nd position.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Jaswinder Kaur, Dr. Vandna Saini, Ms. Rozy Gupta and Ms. Geeta Kocher.
