INTER SCHOOL DEBATE AND POEM RECITATION COMPETITION

The Literary Society of the college organized an Inter School Debate and Poem Recitation Competition on 24th November, 2023. As many as 12 schools from various parts of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh participated in this competition. Shri Mohammad Tayyab IAS, Director Treasury & Accounts and Secretary Expenditure, Dept. Of Finance was the Chief Guest for the event. Shri Baldev Sachdeva was the Guest of Honour.
The competition was judged by Prof. Ashima Dhir and Mrs. Archana Menhdiratta. The Team Trophy for Debate Competition was won by CM Public School, Rajpura and the Team Trophy for Poem Recitation Competition was won by Govt. Sen. Sec. Smart School Bahadurgarh, Patiala. 1st position in Debate Competition was bagged by Gurleen from CM Public School , Rajpura and 1st position in Poem Recitation Competition was won by Himangi Sharma from Govt. Model Sen. Sec. Smart School, Sec. 20, Panchkula. Maj Gen AK Shori (Retd.), Chairman, Governing Body of the college graced the occasion.Officiating Principal, Dr.Meenakshi Negi, congratulated the winners.
The event was organised by Dr. Ankita Gupta and Dr. Lakhwinder Kaur, Coordinators of the literary club.
