KARWAN AND 7TH ANNUAL PRIZE DISTRIBUTION FUNCTION

A cultural fair ‘Karwan and 7th Annual Prize Distribution function was organised in the college on 20th April, 2024. Meritorious students were given annual prizes for their brilliant performance in fields like Academics, Sports and co-curricular activities.
In Karwan there was a motley of performances celebrating the vibrant and rich culture of Punjab. Folk songs and folk dances were a major attraction of the function. ‘Raunki Girls Group’ made a splash with their special performance and sang foot-tapping Punjabi songs. On this occasion, Bollywood actor and music director Davi Singh and actor Harjit Walia graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. A Punjabi traditional dress exhibition competition ‘Pehrawa’ was also organized in which college students along with students from nearby schools participated. Karwan was an endeavour of the Heritage and Culture Cell.
