Baisakhi Celebration
GGDSD College, Kheri Gurna, Banur, celebrated the auspicious festival of Baisakhi, with great delight and zeal on 15th April, 2023 in the college campus.The festival is a pious way of thanking Almighty for the good harvest. Students performed Gidda Bhangra and Punjabi folk songs that delighted the audience comprising faculty members and officiating Principal Dr.Meenakshi Negi. In her address, Dr.Negi underlined that festival of Baisakhi is of great significance especially in the state of Punjab.
She felicitated the winners of Best Mutiyar and Best Gabru of Pehnawa Pardarshani Contest in which Simranjeet Kaur of BA 6th sem and Jashan of DCA emerged as the winners. Everyone present enjoyed the event to the fullest.
