Book Publication

A book co authored by Dr. Jyoti Singla, Department of Economics, titled ‘Demographic and Socio-Economic Analysis of International Migration from Rural Punjab’ was released at Punjabi University Patiala on 2nd September, 2024. It was a joint project work supervised by Dr. Gian Singh, Former Professor of Economics, Punjabi University. Justice Paramjit Singh Dhaliwal, Former Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh was the chief guest on this occasion. A large number of audience present showed deep interest in understanding the tangled web of Punjab and migration in this event.
