Educational Movie shown on Martyrdom Day of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji
Department of History of the College organized an educational movie programme on November 24, 2021 in the college on the eve of “Martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji” for the students of 2nd and 3rd year of History Department. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Jaswinder Kaur. She briefed the life, struggle and contributions of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji as Hind Ki Chadar for better understanding of the students and also presented the documentary on Guru Teg Bahadur Ji. The purpose of organizing this programme was to enlighten about the sacrifice of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji and to do something different for the progress of students by combining education with extra knowledge related to their subject.
After the movie, various important points were discussed with the students and the queries raised by the students were also answered. Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Rama Arora remarked on the practical way of learning History subject and also generating interest of the students in studies. The event was well organized by Dr. Jaswinder Kaur and Ms. Geeta Kocher.
