Independence Day Celebration

The 78th Independence Day was celebrated in the premises of GGDSD College, Kheri Gurna on August 15, 2024. Dr. Meenakshi Negi, Officiating Principal hoisted the National flag followed by recitation of National Anthem by staff and students. In her address she told how and when the citizens of India got the right of flag hoisting in their homes and that National flag should not be disrespected after the Independence Day is over. Maj. Gen. A.K. Shori, Chairman also graced the occasion. In his address he motivated the students that true patriotism lies in acting responsibly towards our fundamental duties and rights. The event ended with quiz and games for the students.
