Lohri Celebration

Festival of Lohri was celebrated with full zeal and enthusiasm in the premises of the college. The mood on the campus was upbeat with the faculty and other staff members immersed in the festive spirit. Everyone gathered in their festive attires looked best for the occasion. A key symbol of Lohri is the bonfire. So, the celebration kicked off by lighting bonfire and ‘Lohri Poojan’. Dr.Meenakshi Negi, Officiating Principal, greeted the faculty members and stressed upon the value of the culture. Everyone worshipped and went around the bonfire. Groundnuts, rewaris and sweets were distributed among all. After Poojan, everyone danced and sang around the bonfire. The program concluded with Antakshri which everyone enjoyed to the fullest.
