RANGOLI AND DIYA MAKING COMPETITION ON THE EVE OF DIWALI

The Diwali celebration function was organized in college on 9th November,2023 by Women Empowerment Forum. The students displayed their artistic skills through an array of Rangoli and Diya making. Students of all classes participated in the competition with immense zeal and enthusiasm.
The college wore a festive look with diyas and lanterns adorning the reception and corridors of the college. Dr. Meenakshi Negi (Officiating Principal) appreciated all the students on the behalf of management and the staff members on this auspicious occasion. Dr. Jaswinder Kaur explained that some students make diyas with mud at home and decorated with colors. Puneet (BA 3rd year) showed the creativity by making and decorating diya herself and bagged first position in Diya Decoration competition. Priyanka, Suman and Komal from B.Com H – 2 got first position, Purvika , Diya and Jaismeen from BBA -1 bagged second position and Kamalpreet (BA-1), Poonam and Simran from B.Com -1 got third position in Rangoli competition.The judgement was given by Dr. Preeti Arora and Ms. Harmanpreet Kaur. All the teaching and Non teaching staff members enjoyed Diwali Celebration together. The event was co-ordinated by Dr. Jaswinder Kaur, Dr.Vandna Saini, Ms. Rozy Gupta and Ms. Geeta Kocher.
