Selfie Competition

Women Empowerment Forum of G.G.D.S.D. College, Kheri Gurna, Banur had organized an online competition of clicking selfie or photo with the flag. The campaign was initiated as a part of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Independence. The main aim of this campaign was to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the heart of every people and to promote awareness about the tricolor. To mark this momentous occasion, students were encouraged to hoist the flag in their homes from 13th to 15th August 2022. Apart from this, they were also allowed to ‘Pin a Flag’ virtually along with posting a ‘Selfie with Flag’.

The competition was well organized by Dr. Jaswinder Kaur and Mrs. Geeta Kocher. All the students were requested to share the picture or selfie in the google classroom.
