SELFIE CONTEST ON MOTHER’S DAY

Women Empowerment Forum of the College organized a Selfie Contest to celebrate Mother’s Day on 8th May, 2022 and gave an opportunity to the students to thank their mother as a woman who brought them into this world. 16 students shared their selfies along with a message for their mothers in google classroom.Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Rama Arora said that mothers have different roles in our lives, from being a caregiver to becoming a protector, from being a friend to a mentor. Dr. Jaswinder Kaur told that this day is celebrated to commemorate and honour the existence of mothers in people’s lives.Judgement was given by Dr. Meenakshi Negi and Dr. Maninder Kaur. Harmandeep Kaur and Parash Sharma from BA VIth Sem got first position, Siddharth from BBA IVth Sem and Hemant from B.Com (H) IVth Sem got second position and Ms. Chesta from BA IVth Sem got third position.
