Workshop on ‘e-filing of Income Tax Returns’

GGDSD College, Kheri Gurna, successfully organized a comprehensive workshop on ‘e-filing of Income Tax Returns’ on 7^th March 2025. The primary objective of this workshop was to equip students of Commerce and Management with essential knowledge and skills related to the e-filing process of Income Tax Returns (ITR). Given the growing importance of understanding tax procedures, this initiative aimed at providing students with practical knowledge of the tax filing process, which is crucial for their academic and professional development.

The workshop was led by Dr. Vandna Saini, who took the students through a detailed step-by-step explanation of the entire process involved in e-filing an income tax return. She outlined the necessary pre-requisites, starting from the registration process and e-filling of Income Tax Return return, also detailing the different ITR ,26AS and AIS form and their relevance .

The workshop has significantly contributed to bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in the field of taxation.
