Best Out of Waste Competition
Women Empowerment Forum of the college organized ‘BEST OUT OF WASTE’ competition held from August 24, 2022, to September 03, 2022. The objective of competition was to acquaint students with love for nature and responsibility to protect it and improve their skills.
The competition was open for all students. They were given the task to create and design something new with waste material. All the students were required to bring their articles in the college and submit before September 03, 2022.
Students used their imagination to make innovative things. For this they utilized waste material like broken bangles, plastic bottles, old CDs, beads, etc.
Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Rama Arora appreciated the imagination & creativity of the students and motivated them to reduce waste so to save our planet. Dr. Jaswinder Kaur also appreciated the ability of the students to think and organize their thought to create such beautiful items.
The articles were displayed in the exhibition on September 10, 2022. The judgement was given by Principal Prof. (Dr.) Rama Arora and Dr. Meenakshi Negi.
Chesta Saini of B.A. 5th Sem got 1st Position, Tanisha of B.A. 1st Sem got 2nd Position, Rahul Kumar Sharma of B.B.A. 3rd Sem got 3rd Position and Payal of B.A. 1st Sem got Consolation prize.
