Cleanliness Drive and Plant Distribution function

Green Campus Club in association with NSS Unit of GGDSD College, Kheri Gurna organized a Cleanliness Drive and Plant Distribution function on 30th March, 2022. During this event, the students were informed about the importance of cleanliness and were encouraged to plant as many plants as possible and also to take care of them. The students were also instructed to dispose off the garbage in the green and blue bins kept at each floor of the college. Dr. Maninder Kaur, Coordinator – NSS unit and Dr. Jaswinder Kaur, Coordinator – Green Campus Cell explained the students about the process of making compost in the compost pit of the college and its use in the college lawn. To keep the college green, Kochi and Sada Bahar saplings brought by gender champions were also planted. Prof. (Dr.) Rama Arora, Principal congratulated both the coordinators for successful conduct of the event.
