Interim Budget – 2024-25

 GGDSD College, Kheri Gurna organized a panel discussion on ‘Interim Budget – 2024-25’ on 9th February, 2024 in the seminar hall of the college. The discussion was arranged for the students of B.Com., B.Com (Hons.), M.Com. and BA (Economics). Deviating from routine expert panel, this time the students themselves became panelists. This unique idea has resulted in whole hearted participation of the students. 9 students acted as the panelists and 1 was the mediator. The main highlights of the interim budget i.e. Digital Infrastructure, Women Empowerment, Schemes for Farmers, Poor People, Amritkal, Taxation and Youth Empowerment were discussed in this event. The students discussed the pros and cons of each of the above budget announcements in detail. It was indeed a great experience for the students. In this discuusion, Rohan Rana of B.Com (H) – III was adjudged the best panelist. The event was coordinated by Dr. CS Jyoti Arora, Dr. Jyoti Singla and Dr. Manjinder Kaur.
